A furniture series exploring the space between product and graphic design.

Constructed from leftover pieces of Hokkaido-grown Japanese oak, each chair begins as 25mm laminated boards stacked into 75mm units. Working within this simple system, forms emerge through repetition, joinery, and constraint.

As the material shaped the objects, the objects began shaping the visual identity in turn.
The same logic used to construct the chairs was translated into a typographic language. Using a letter to replace conventional model names, this letter follows the same structural rules, tracing the geometry of the object across the 75mm grid system, creating a visual language specific to each form.

A system for constructing both objects and identity—where furniture, graphics, and naming emerge from the same underlying structure.

プロダクトデザインとグラフィックデザイン、その境界を探る家具シリーズ。

北海道産ミズナラの端材を用い、家具は25mmの集成材を積層した75mmの部材によって構成されている。制約を前提とした構造ルールの中で、反復や接合を重ねながら、それぞれのフォルムが生まれていく。

素材や構造の制約が家具の形を導く一方で、そのロジックはビジュアルアイデンティティにも展開されている。各チェアには一般的なモデル名ではなく、制作順にアルファベットを割り当て、タイプごとに固有のビジュアルシステムを形成している。
タイポグラフィは家具と同じ構造ルールに基づき、75mmグリッドの中で構造や輪郭をなぞるように設計されている。

家具、グラフィック、ネーミングを、共通のロジックによって構築することを試みたプロジェクトである。
